Great facility and staff! Very thorough, surprisingly reasonable in comparison. My senior horse had a mystery ongoing leg issue that was properly diagnosed here. Worth trailering in, even got an accurate weight on the big scale, always a guess before!
I appreciated meeting and speaking with Dr Krotec. She was personable, answered all my questions, was kind to Liam and I felt comfortable knowing she was professional and competent. Her assistant Kaley was also very nice and they worked together well. I am a new horse owner so have been apprehensive about Liam’s diagnosis and what it means for his future. I am grateful for Dr Krotec’s expertise and knowledge. Finally, I was pleased to receive an electronic ambulatory discharge summary.
Every experience we have had with Brandon Equine has been exceptional! From the routine check ups to our most recent colic emergency, the service, dedication, and loving care is without compare. After watching our precious girl undergo a 4 hour surgery with Drs. Maher and Restifo on Sunday, we continue to be in awe of the center. The equipment used is state of the art, the cleanliness of the facility, and by no means last, the incredible knowledge and skills of the doctors leaves us so thankful to have Brandon Equine available to us. Every employee we have met has been professional yet caring and supportive. All of their records and billing can be done electronically which makes our record keeping simple. Our only hope now is that our horse makes a full recovery. Regardless of the outcome, we know that Brandon Equine did their utmost to save her and continue to do so every hour of her recovery period. Our depth of gratitude is immeasurable.

Dr. Restifo was so amazing with my mare. My mare does not like injections and even after administering an oral tranquilizer she continued to fight and strike out with her front legs. Dr. Restifo stayed calm and focused on the task at hand and was able to get the injections done. I am so grateful that she was able to do it.

The staff was very ready to accept my horse, Chiclet. They got started right away, was very clear in explaining the process and the potential costs involved. Dr Richter was very knowledgable and kind. they were all kind to my horse (which is of high importance to the owner). They guided me through postop instructions and at no time made me feel rushed, all of my questions were carefully heard. I appreciate all of you that helped Chiclet recover quickly and fully. She is now home, a little tired but seems happy to be resting with her peeps now. Thank you!!
I truly appreciate Dr. Richter’s knowledge and professionalism. She was very thorough with Sugar’s exam and the explanations of her findings with us. Even though I was hoping for better news for her prognosis, I’m still praying that the antibiotics she prescribed work for her and make her better. In hindsight, I just wish I had gone to see her when Sugar was first injured and will in the future.
After moving from Texas and leaving a vet that I loved, I am thankful and relieved to be in the caring and capable hands of the folks at Brandon Equine. I feel very comfortable and confident with Dr. Maher’s evaluation and treatment plans for my horses. He explains things clearly and prescribes a reasonable and cost effective road map to recovery.
